PPL

PPL was established in 1995 and is one of the most important consignment services in the Czech Republic. It enables national transport of packages weighing up to 3,000 kg and, thanks to cooperation with its partner company DHL, delivery throughout Europe.

As part of domestic parcel transport, PPL offers three basic services, which it describes as PPL Parcel CZ Business, PPL Parcel CZ Private and PPL Parcel CZ Morning. All 3 categories are only for contract customers and differ, for example, in the time of delivery. The customer receives better conditions of transport based on the volume of packages. Those who do not want to be bound by a contract can use the Package for You service for fast and easy logistics to the Czech Republic and Europe. This way, private shipments can be sent directly to the customer’s location with cash on delivery.

Firstly, the delivery details must be provided in the form, the postage must be paid by credit card and a printed label must be affixed to the package. You will then either hand over the consignment to your courier directly at your home, or take it to one of the so-called PPL Parcelshops, which is the fastest expanding network of distribution and delivery points in the Czech Republic. The advantage of this services is that a person is not tied to a specific time of delivery and. in addition, most Parcelshops are open on weekends. These branches are evenly distributed throughout the Czech Republic. After delivery of the packages, the addressee will receive home delivery, or pick up from the selected Parcelshop, either free of charge or after cash on delivery.

For international parcel transport, the delivery time is 2 – 5 working days and the consignee can redirect the consignment to the home address or a selected delivery point. Regular updates are provided on the location of the package.
